About Us
Natural Healing Massage is a home-based business owned and operated by Mylene Lotz, a dedicated practitioner of holistic medicine with over 30 years of experience as a massage therapist. Mylene's knowledge of healing arts goes back to her childhood in the Philippines, where she learned the ancient art of Hilot from her grandfather. She attended healing arts and massage school in Manila, where she graduated with top honors and worked in major spas in the area before leaving for Hawaii. In 1994, Mylene established her own private home business in Lihue, HI, where she continues to provide exceptional massage therapy services to this day.

Deep Tissue Massage: This massage technique is mainly used to treat strains and sports injuries. It involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues. Hilot Massage: This kind of massage is used in traditional medicine in many parts of the Philippines and throughout the world today. This form of healing therapy relies on principles of the body's natural energy to treat imbalances in our bodies/mind, and it relieves many ailments. Hilot is also a Filipino word used for "healer." A hilot therapist is trained in massage and body/mind connections. This kind of therapy is beneficial for body relaxation, for pregnancy-term massage therapy, for skeletal manipulation, for relieving muscle pains and for treating many other medical conditions.
Cupping Therapy: Cupping finds its roots in traditional Chinese medicine. This treatment brings blood to the surface of the skin and improves the energy flow throughout the body and is valuable for the following: Blood disorders such as anemia and hemophilia, Rheumatic diseases such as arthritis and fibromyalgia Fertility and gynecological disorders, Skin problems such as eczema and acne, High blood pressure(hypertension), Migraine, Anxiety and depression, Bronchial congestion caused by allergies and asthma, Varicose veins and many other maladies. Although cupping is not painful, the recipient commonly walks away with a circular bruise on the areas where cups were applies. Cupping is considered to be relatively safe, especially when performed by a trained health professional.
