Our Story
Gary Mendelson, our founder and lead therapist, has a background unlike any other massage therapist. With a history as a professional theater artist, candle maker, and entrepreneur, Gary's journey to becoming a massage therapist is a testament to his passion for helping others. Since 2009, Gary has been a California Certified and Licensed Advanced Neuromuscular Therapist and Health Educator, dedicated to providing comfortable, healing, and relaxing massage therapy to the San Francisco Bay Area.
Our Services
At The Massage Garage, we offer a range of massage services designed to help alleviate pain and discomfort. Our therapeutic massage techniques encompass the nervous system and muscular systems together, isolating where the pain is coming from and re-educating and realigning the muscle fibers to go back to their normal position. We also retrain the nerve movements of the brain to actually get rid of the pain. Our massage techniques are a great complement to physical therapy, chiropractic, acupuncture, and other healing systems.
