Our Philosophy

Programs
We offer three program schedules: Weeknight, Weekend, and Weekday. Our programs are designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in massage therapy, including anatomy, physiology, and pathology. Our programs are structured to include both theoretical and practical components, ensuring that students graduate with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in this field.
Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission, students must meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Be able to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Submit a minimum of two character references from healthcare professionals
- Schedule a personal on-site tour of our facility before registration
- Complete a personal data form
- Submit the required Enrollment Agreement and Application Fee
- Pay in full or sign an installment payment agreement for tuition before or on the first day of class
Student Conduct and Ethics
As a professional, ethics are essential standards of acceptable and professional behavior. We expect our students to conduct themselves in a professional manner, maintaining good health habits, keeping surroundings neat and clean, and keeping personal and professional lives separate.
Licensing Requirements
To be licensed as a massage therapist in the state of Tennessee, an individual must:
- Be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED
- Complete a minimum of 500 hours of coursework at an approved school
- Pass an approved examination
- Pass the Massage and Bodywork Licensing exam (MBLEx) established by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards
Objectives
The conclusion of our 550-hour program will have students proficient in a full-body massage, exposed to a range of basic massage therapy applications, and supported towards achieving personal balance and well-being. Our goal is to provide students with an education that meets the requirements set forth by the Tennessee Board of Massage Therapy and National Board of Testing.
Graduation
We take pride in our high graduation rate, with an average pass rate of 85%-93% on the MBLEx exam over the last 10 years. Our graduates are well-prepared to enter the workforce, providing therapeutic massage services to the community.
