Celestial Hands Healing Arts is owned and operated by Adam Mel Campos LMT, a certified massage therapist who received his training at the Cortiva Institute Groton campus. The business was founded in 2018 with the goal of creating a welcoming and effective space for clients to heal both body and soul.

Located at 300 State Street in the Dewart Building in New London, CT, Celestial Hands is in close proximity to the Public Library and The Garde Arts Center. Parking is available on the street as well as in the city's municipal parking lot on Eugene O'Neil Drive.

Celestial Hands Healing Arts offers a variety of services designed to promote relaxation, healing, and overall wellness. These include:

• Therapeutic Massage: A soothing relaxation session that uses light to moderate pressure with rhythmic gliding motions complemented by petrissage (kneading) of the muscles. This results in improved health of your muscles by flushing out toxins and aiding blood circulation and oxygen flow.

• Deep Tissue Massage: A restorative healing session that targets chronic tension in your muscles. This session begins with myofascial release to target areas, followed by moderate to deep pressure used to sink below the superficial muscle and address attachment sites. The goal is adhesions and trigger point release resulting in reduced pain, greater range of motion, and improved posture.

• Site Specific Massage: A targeted remedial session for those with sudden or gradual overuse injuries. This typically shorter session uses therapeutic pressure to your tolerance to address subacute and chronic injuries to a specific body part. The intention is to facilitate faster healing of the injured site while learning which muscles (or other structures) were wounded to reduce the likelihood of a repeat injury.

• Manual Lymphatic Drainage: A technique using specific pressure and rhythmic movements to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart. Excellent for detox, pre-surgery cleansing, and post-surgery to aid in the healing process. Also indicated for a number of other conditions.

• Integrated Reiki: An energy healing session paired with any gentle touch modality such as Swedish or Lymphatic Drainage. Perfect for those healing from emotional trauma and stress. Reiki is a powerful technique administered by laying hands over body at energetic channels to promote stress reduction and healing.
