Our mission is to provide a solid foundation in the science, application, and heart of massage therapy, enabling our students to become knowledgeable and compassionate practitioners.

At Adrian School of Massage, we are committed to three key pillars:

1) Offering excellence in massage education: We pride ourselves in delivering a comprehensive, state-licensed, and NCBTMB-assigned 842-hour program. Our curriculum is designed to equip students with a strong understanding of the anatomy, physiology, and techniques required to excel in the field.

2) Supporting massage professionals and the profession: We are dedicated to fostering the growth and development of massage therapists, both locally and nationally. Our alumni network, job board, and employer meet-and-greets serve as resources for our students and graduates to connect with potential employers and continue their professional development.

3) Benefiting our community through a public clinic and wellness opportunities: Our public clinic provides affordable massage therapy services to the community, while offering our students hands-on experience in a supervised setting. We also actively participate in outreach programs and collaborate with local organizations to promote health and wellness.

Our History

Adrian School of Massage was founded in 2014 by Christy Bossard (Gagneur), who was driven by a distinct vision to create a haven of compassion, connection, and integrity in the realm of massage education. After a successful crowdfunding campaign in 2015, we welcomed our first class of seven students in September of the same year. Our original location in downtown Adrian was soon outgrown, and we relocated to our current space between Adrian and Tecumseh on Occidental Highway. As we look forward to 2024, we are excited to plan a move to a new location that will better serve our evolving needs.

Our Services

Enrollment and Savings: We invite prospective students to enroll in our state-licensed, 842-hour program, which provides a comprehensive education in massage therapy. Financing options and financial aid applications are available for those in need.
