At Shea Kristine Massage & Bodywork, our mission is to provide a holistic approach to massage and bodywork, combining various modalities to promote relaxation, reduce pain, and improve overall well-being. Our licensed massage therapist, Sheila Kristine, has been practicing in the Santa Ynez Valley for many years, dedicating herself to continually expanding her skills and techniques to meet the unique needs of each client.

My Journey into Massage

Sheila's journey into the world of massage began in 2008 when she started her training at Santa Barbara Bodyworks. Quickly falling in love with the work and having a natural talent for it, Sheila felt a sense of peace and purpose that she deeply cherishes. Dedicated to her practice, Sheila is ever-growing her collection of modalities and techniques, often saying she finds her hands (and elbows) having minds of their own, focusing in on just the right spot or going somewhere neither she nor her client knew was hurting. Drawing from a wide range of therapies including Therapeutic Swedish, Thai, Cross Link Adhesion Release, Trigger Point, Acupressure, and Meridian Tracing, Sheila has many tools in her toolbox and excitedly awaits each session to discover which ones her client's body and spirit ask to be employed.

Our Services

We offer a variety of massage and bodywork services to cater to individual needs and preferences. Our menu of services includes:

• Traditional Therapeutic Massage: A relaxing and rejuvenating experience, perfect for those looking to unwind and reduce stress.
• Swedish Deep Tissue Massage: A slow, firm, and flowing intuitive dance, incorporating many beneficial modalities to assist the body to heal chronic or acute challenges.
• Barefoot Bodywork: A deep and intense therapy, leveraging Sheila's weight on tight muscles and trigger points to melt them into putty and turn the body into a human noodle.

What to Expect

Before your session, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing and arriving 15-20 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to complete any necessary paperwork. Please note that we do not have online booking available, and all appointments are made through text or phone call. New clients are encouraged to introduce themselves and state their name when inquiring about a session.

Pricing

Our session pricing is as follows:

• 60-minute session: $130
• 75-minute session: $155
• 90-minute session: $180
• 120-minute session: $220

Cancellations and Policies

We understand that circumstances may arise, and cancellations may be necessary. Please note that we have a 48-hour cancellation policy, where any cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment will incur a flat rate of $130. We appreciate your understanding of this policy and encourage you to reach out with any questions or concerns.
