Our Story

Breathing Space was founded in January 2005 in Fayetteville, North Carolina by Lisa Lofthouse, a Kripalu yoga teacher, artist, spiritual seeker, and author of Journey to a Life of Bliss. She dreamed of creating a supportive environment for anyone searching for ease of being, wellness, good health, and a vibrant, blissful life. Our founder's vision is to provide a peaceful space for individuals to explore their inner selves, find balance, and cultivate a deeper connection with their bodies, minds, and spirits.
