About Me

Hello! I'm Carla, founder and licensed massage therapist at Body Works by Carla. I have been passionate about helping people reduce pain and stress through the power of massage since 2003. Born and raised in Evanston, Illinois, I love being able to serve the community I grew up in.

My journey into massage therapy began with my studies at the Ohashiatsu School for Massage, followed by certification at First Choice Academy in Glenview, Illinois. I believe in a holistic approach to wellness, tailoring each session to the unique needs of my clients.

My specialty lies in relaxation and stress reduction techniques like Shiatsu, deep tissue massage, Reiki, and Swedish massage. I'm also experienced in providing specialized treatments like pregnancy massage and corporate chair massage.
