Our business was established by David Melvin, a licensed massage therapist with over two decades of experience. David graduated from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in 1998-1999 and initially maintained a small practice out of his home in Ledyard, CT. After relocating to Wayland in 2009, he continued his education at the Cortiva Institute in Watertown, MA, and obtained his license to perform massage therapy in Massachusetts in 2014. David has worked at various locations, including Bosse Spa & Style in Sudbury and Massage Envy in Wellesley, before establishing Comforts of Home Massage.

Our primary service area includes Wayland, Weston, Sudbury, Maynard, Lincoln, Concord, Acton, Lexington, Waltham, Newton, Wellesley, Natick, and Framingham, with an extended service area that covers Hudson, Stow, Dedham, Needham, Dover, Sherborn, Medfield, Millis, Medway, Holliston, Ashland, Southborough, Marlborough, and Watertown.

We offer both in-studio and in-home massage sessions, ensuring that you can choose the environment that best suits your needs and preferences. Our studio is nestled in the northern woods of Wayland, providing a serene and peaceful atmosphere for your massage. For those who prefer the comfort of their own home, we will travel to you and set up our equipment in your preferred space.

COVID-19 Update

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we are taking extra precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients and ourselves. David has been fully vaccinated as of May 20, 2021, with two doses of the Pfizer vaccine. However, due to the close proximity associated with massage therapy sessions, we are being very selective of what clients we see and what environments we will travel to for in-home sessions. All potential new clients need to be screened prior to the acceptance of any session requests.
