Our Story
At Essential Massage and Spa Therapies, we are proud to have been serving the Taos community for 23 years with a caring and professional touch. Our mission is to provide exceptional massage therapy and spa treatments that promote relaxation, rejuvenation, and overall well-being.
Our Services
We offer a range of therapeutic massage therapies, including Swedish massage, sports massage, deep tissue massage, and prenatal massage. Our licensed massage therapists are trained in various modalities and can provide firm to medium deep pressure. We use lotion for better skin hydration and all of our massage tables have the amethyst Biomat, which radiates infrared warmth and negative ion therapy for deep healing.
Reflexology
We also offer foot reflexology, a therapeutic practice that uses specific points on the feet that correspond to different organs and systems within the body. Our certified reflexologist, Lea Wildflower, uses gentle to firm pressure to apply pressure to specific points on the feet, promoting relaxation, improved circulation, and the release of tension.
Our Staff
Our staff of licensed massage therapists are trained in various modalities and all can provide firm to medium deep pressure. Some therapists also offer deep tissue massage. We have a team of experienced and skilled therapists who are dedicated to providing exceptional service and care to our clients.
Our Location
Our lovely location is situated at 824 Paseo del Pueblo Norte, Taos, New Mexico 87571, just 1.2 miles north of Taos Plaza on the main road Highway 64. We are open by advance appointment only, and we do not accept credit or debit cards. We are closed on Sundays.
Important Notes
Please note that we do not offer facials or other spa therapies at this time due to Covid-19. We also do not accept credit or debit cards, and all payments must be made in cash or check. Additionally, we are a perfume-free environment and ask that clients refrain from wearing perfumes or fragrances.
Add-ons
We offer several add-ons to enhance your experience, including aromatherapy, which uses essential oils to promote relaxation and reduce stress, and Arnica Biomat, which provides infrared warmth and negative ion therapy for deep healing. We also offer CBD salve and Arnica healing salve for an additional fee.
